Spring is finally here! Which means warmer weather is quickly approaching. Grills and barbecues are coming out so we want to remind everyone to be safe when cooking outside. The first step is to use the proper grill. If you have a propane or gas grill, do not fill it with charcoal and vice versa.
You may be excited to get your grill up and running after a long winter but take the time to look around and make sure you are far enough away from the house and other combustible materials. There is nothing worse than accidentally setting your house on fire because you were too excited to start your grill!
A quick reminder, we recently turned our clocks ahead so this is also a good time to check the batteries in your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms. It is one of the most important things you can do to ensure the safety of yourself and your family.
