The FireFighter Audio Detector revolutionary is a residential monitoring fire alarm system that is one of the newest fire safety products on the market.

Typically traditional home fire alarms cannot be monitored by the fire department without extreme wiring and labor costs; because of the cost and wiring issues, most home owners only monitor their home for burglar alarms. What people don’t realize is that they are 7 times more likely to encounter a fire than a break in.

This new FireFighter sensor made by Encore Controls changes all of that and allows home owners to have both their residential fire alarms and burglar alarms monitored at the same time for the same monthly cost.

It works as a sound sensor; when the fire alarm goes off, the sensor which is placed next to the fire alarm is notified and in turn “talks” to the security panel letting it know that the fire alarms are going off. The fire department is then notified right away. These can be added to your home for about $100 per unit.
